Windmills of Norfolk East Anglia & Norfolk Broads Historical Mills

Visit working Wind Mills on the Norfolk Broads River System

Norfolk with its stunning countryside, wide slowly flowing Broads, breathtaking beaches, and stunning architecture is also on the fast track to being world renowned for its awe inspiring Windmills. Towering above the lush green landscape perched on the edge of rivers, many of these windmills are still open to the public for tours and viewing. It is truly amazing how some of the older mills remain standing, although not without the help of the Norfolk Windmill Trust in many cases. These mills, combined with the rich history and culture of surrounding Norfolk, provide the perfect backdrop for a wonderful holiday either relaxing by the coast or exploring the Broads waterways.
