14th Century Old Church in Belaugh Village

Belaugh Church is located at Church Lane, Belaugh, Norfolk NR12 8UY. It is a Church of England church that can be found on a hill over the village. It was constructed in the Fourteenth Century, and contains an ornamented room screen that was designed with pictures of the apostles, which was added in the Sixteenth Century. In the Seventeenth Century, a soldier removed the apostles' faces. Meanwhile, the organ at the church was made by Reverend George Buck between 1886 and 1904. He also made church organs for Little Melton and Edingthorpe. Belaugh is a very small village, with no bars, shops or pubs, so be it may be advisable to take a picnic when visiting the church.
